Farm to Table Luncheon

The Farm To Table Luncheon will feature guest speaker Dr. Lelia Kelly, a home horticulturist and professional landscape designer. She will be speaking on the topic “Color in the Fall and Winter Landscape”. The meal will include cucumber salad, farm fresh corn on the cob, fall squash, purple hull peas, cornbread, grilled chicken breast, peach cobbler, water, sweet and un-sweet tea and great company. Scarecrow Festival

Sunflower Craze Days

Purple Hull Pea Festival

Purple Hull Peas are the caviar of the South, but it takes a lot of purple thumbs shelling those peas to get a spoonful. Cotton Pickin’ Pumpkin Festival

It’s cotton harvest time here on Wise Family Farm and we are celebrating by hosting the 2nd annual “Pickin Cotton For Kids” a fundraiser for St. Jude. You will have the opportunity to pick cotton for $2.00 which will be donated to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital. There will be a cotton picking contest among local groups. Have S’more Fun Weekend

Come enjoy the last weekend on the farm this season. We will have campfires on the farm with free s'mores set up and a complimentary movie under the stars this weekend only. Don’t forget your bug spray, blankets or lawn chairs. Scarecrow Sunday

The farm is only open to any group, business, or families that would like to team up and compete in the St. Jude Scarecrow Event. Groups are invited to create a scarecrow scene along the scarecrow trail which will be judged by our visitors throughout the fall season. Homeschool Group Days

September 24, 2019 - September 26, 2019

The farm is open 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for Home School Groups. These groups will receive the student discount and can come do a self- guided agriculture tour. There will be staff on hand to answer any questions your student may have. This will include the pumpkin patch, corn maze, wagon ride, flower picking, picking cotton for St. Jude and all the fun activities the farm has to offer. The grill will also be open for lunches and snacks.
